Ingram to Fredericksburg TX. Beautiful and short ride. We are now halfway in our cross-country odyssey. It was an easy day today and a beautiful ride. Tomorrow is our rest day. We always start the morning eating breakfast and previewing the day’s ride and telling war stories from the day before. It was a French toast day for me. Although I never had anything resembling French toast while living there in France for two years…but I digress. We rode this country lane today with lots of live oaks and cows. Some cows even mooed at us. We saw deer jumping over the road at one point. Just a really pleasant day on the bike for once this week. We saw bluebell wildflowers and an old DC 3. It’s wash day this afternoon too and again they didn’t smell so nice before washing.
